About Me

I had never experienced a professional massage therapy session before I started school for it over a decade ago, but now I can’t imagine how I went through life without them. As corny as it may sound, one of my passions in life is helping others. When I found massage therapy, I found a way to help people feel better by decreasing physical pain and increasing their energy, reducing stress and anxiety while achieving better balance, and, most importantly, supporting each client as they discover a greater connection to their body and mind.

Whether I am studying and implementing specific muscle treatment techniques or whole body massage therapy styles, the one thing I always come back to is how amazing the human body is at adapting, adjusting, and surviving through everything we put it through – and then returning again to a place of ease and balance (sometimes with a little help from bodywork). I cherish that moment when a client and I have a breakthrough during a session and their eyes light up in excitement. Yet I have to admit, I’m a geek for all those moments beforehand:  listening to your story, researching your symptoms and goals, exploring various treatments on the massage table to see what works for you. I have repeatedly heard from my clients that each session has its own rhythm and does not feel scripted or routine. Individual sessions are customized with your long term goals in mind as well as what is going on with you on that specific day. Hopefully though, what does feel the same throughout our relationship is the focus on your needs every time you walk into my massage therapy studio.

If you are ready to ease your pain, if you need time to focus on you, if you want help reaching for your next health goal, schedule your appointment now. If you feel yourself nodding your head yes as you read this but still have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. You are on your own unique health journey, and I am excited (and grateful) to be a part of it.
