A 48 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment to avoid penalty. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 48 hours advance notice you will be charged the full rate of your appointment. If you have an emergency or are sick, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss your situation.

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session. Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged the full rate for their missed appointment.

Therapist provides non-sexual, therapeutic massage – without exception. Breast massage is not provided. If the client makes a sexual suggestion during the session, be it verbal or physical, the session will be stopped and the client will still pay the full amount of the session. If at any time the client feels uncomfortable, they may request to end the session as well.

Massage therapy is health and wellness. It prevents injury; it alleviates pain; it reduces stress. It is not a luxury you do on vacation or for your birthday – at least not if you want to see and feel the long-term effects in your daily life. If I have ever had a conversation with you about massage and bodywork, you have heard me say something similar, and probably more than once! The massage industry is slowly but surely proving why it should be considered healthcare. I am excited to take one more step in advocating massage as healthcare by eliminating tipping at my business and charging a flat fee rate structure. To learn more, read the FAQs on my blog.
